How to use YT Summarizer & ClawHub AI Sidebar

YT Summarizer Extension

Summarize YouTube Videos

  1. Open any YouTube video with captions available.
  2. Click the Summarize button that appears below the video player, or press Ctrl+Shift+S (Win) / Cmd+Shift+S (Mac).
  3. Choose your preferred language for the summary.
  4. Read your AI-generated summary with key points and insights.
  5. Click the Copy button to copy the summary to your clipboard.

Usage & Limits

AI on Any Webpage

  1. Click the ✨ button at the bottom-right of any webpage, or press Cmd+Shift+K (Mac) / Ctrl+Shift+K (Win).
  2. The sidebar opens with several modes:
    • Summarize — Get key points from any article or page
    • Explain — Understand complex concepts
    • Translate — Read the page in your language
    • Q&A — Ask anything about the page content
    • Rewrite — Rewrite content in different tones
    • Email Reply Pro — Generate email replies from context
  3. Type your question or select a mode and let the AI work with the current page as context.
  4. Press Esc to close the sidebar.

Activate Your License

  1. After purchase, you'll receive a license key via email from Lemon Squeezy.
  2. Open the extension popup and paste your license key into the input field.
  3. Click Activate (or press Enter).

Your license key is stored locally and validated each time you use the extension.

FAQ

Does it work on any YouTube video?

It works on most videos that have captions available. Videos without captions or auto-generated captions may not be supported.

Is my data private?

Yes. Transcripts are sent to DeepSeek AI for processing and are not stored. We do not track your browsing history or collect personal information. See our Privacy Policy.

Can I use one Pro license on multiple devices?

Yes, your license key works on any device where you're signed into Chrome with the same Google account.
